Abstract:
Nanotechnology achievements of Iranian experts were put on display in an exhibition on the sidelines of the International Forum of the Islamic World University Lecturers and the Islamic Awakening in Tehran on December 11-12, 2012.
Among the most commonly-used devices in the field of nanotechnology, which was put on display in this exhibition, mention can be made of table sputtering devices, freezing drier and thermal analysis, electrospinning and electrophoresis devices, scanning tunneling microscope (STM), atomic force microscope (AFM), and deposition device.
Metallic nanoparticles, oxide nanoparticles, carbon nanoparticles, waterproof materials, anti-stain cloths, and deodorants were among the nanotechnology-based products that were presented in the exhibition.
It must be pointed out that the International Forum of the Islamic World University Lecturers and the Islamic Awakening was held with the participation of 600 university lecturers from Iran and other foreign countries. 350 Iranian university lecturers as well as 250 university professors from other Islamic countries participated in the conference.
