Prime Minister Essam Sharaf said Egypt takes a keen interest in benefiting from the ideas and viewpoints of its scientists to help with rebuilding the country.

Egypt | Posted on June 20th, 2011Sharaf's remarks were made during a meeting Sunday with veteran Egyptian scientist Dr. Moustafa el-Sayyed. The meeting discussed how to achieve scientific progress in
post-revolution Egypt.
On the other hand, Sharaf will open tomorrow Forum of economy based on nanotechnology and its applications, which will be held by the Arab Organization for Administrative Development in cooperation with UNESCO and the age of science association with the participation of about 200 officials and experts discuss a number of important issues, including the uses of nanotechnology in the textile industry, agriculture and food industries, renewable energy and water desalination.
