Eureka Forbes plans more launches
Abstract:
Eureka Forbes, a world major in water purifiers, vacuum cleaners and air purifiers, is planning to launch safe-home and smart-home systems in a couple of years.
Managing Director Suresh Lal Goklaney told Express that his company had been looking at the right technology for the Indian condition. He hoped the company would get it in a year or so.
The firm had floated a joint venture along with the professors of Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Chennai to carry out research in nanotechnology.
The joint venture had already developed a nano part for a water purifier product, which can remove pesticides from water. Goklaney said that the firm's turnover stood at Rs 1000 crore in the current fiscal.
