Graphene sensors detect toxic gases
Abstract:
Researchers have used the world's thinnest material to create sensors that can detect even a single molecule of toxic gas - including carbon monoxide.
University of Manchester scientists have developed graphene-based devices which could eventually be used to detect hidden explosives at airports as well as deadly carbon monoxide.
Manchester's Dr Kostya Novoselov and Professor Andre Geim have reported their developments in graphene-based devices in the latest issue of Nature Materials.
