Three engineering experts join faculty at University of Texas at Dallas' Jonsson School
Abstract:
Three leading experts in the mechanics and materials of high-tech engineering have been recruited by the Erik Jonsson School of Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Texas at Dallas in a move to expand the university's position as a leading nanotechnology research center.
Dr. Hongbing Lu: Lu spent more than 10 years on the faculty of Oklahoma State University and will hold the Jonsson School's Louis Beecherl Jr. chair.
Dr. Massimo Fischetti: A professor of electrical and computer engineering at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, Fischetti will hold a Texas Instruments distinguished chair in nanoelectronics.
Dr. Julia W.P. Hsu: A principal member of technical staff at Sandia National Laboratories and a scientist in New Mexico's Sandia Center for Integrated Nanotechnologies, Hsu will also hold a Texas Instruments distinguished chair in nanoelectronics.
