OSU dials up research dollars
Abstract:
Ohio State also expects to attract more grants for its five new "centers of excellence." Last year, Ohio Board of Regents Chancellor Eric D. Fingerhut asked each of the state's public universities to identify their strengths and create centers.
OSU's centers focus on health, behavior and bioinformatics; state, regional and urban development; food production, supply and safety; materials, manufacturing and nanotechnology; and climate change, energy and the environment.
