The Islamic Azad University, in association with Youth Researcher Club, is due to hold a National Conference on Nanoscience and Nanotechnology on May 5, 2012.

Among the objectives of the conference, mention can be made of creation of an appropriate environment for idea exchange among scientists, researchers as well as scientific and industrial genius in the field of nanoscience and nanotechnology, education and information giving to managers and programmers in the field of nanoscience and nanotechnology, interaction and consultation about musts and challenges related to nanotechnology, and exchanging scientific discoveries and achievements in the field of nanoscience.

The scopes of the conference are as follows: nanomaterials, nanophysics, nano-electronics, nanomechanics, nanochemistry and chemical engineering, nanomedicine and pharmacology, nanotechnology applications in biology, agricultural sciences, environment, calculations and mathematics as well as economy and management.

University professors and students are required to submit their articles to the secretariat of the conference until March 12, 2012. University students will receive 50% discount during the registration.
