Industrial Nanotech, Inc. Enters Two New Municipal Markets

Naples, FL | Posted on February 1st, 2011

Industrial Nanotech, Inc. (Pink Sheets: INTK | PowerRating), an emerging global leader in nanotechnology based energy saving solutions, today announced that the Company has won the bidding process for a purchase contract by the City of San Jose in California to provide its patented Nansulate(R) Translucent GP insulation and mold resistance coating in support of San Jose Water Pollution Control Plant /Environmental Services Department requirements. The project bid from the City of San Jose is for 150 gallons.

The Company has also received an order from their Louisiana Distributor, Russo Environmental Materials, for a trial project by the Lafayette Consolidated Government, for Nansulate(R) Translucent High Heat, Nansulate(R) Translucent GP, and Nansulate(R) Translucent PT thermal insulation and asset protection coatings.

"We appreciate the opportunity to provide an energy efficient solution for the City of San Jose, California and the Lafayette Consolidated Government in Louisiana," stated Francesca Crolley, V.P. of Business Development for Industrial Nanotech, Inc. "For the City of San Jose project, Nansulate(R) Translucent GP will be used for thermal insulation on concrete digesters to reduce heat loss, increasing the energy efficiency of the system, while offering a durable solution that will stand up to exterior weathering. Some of the unique benefits that our coatings offer are well-suited to this project, including excellent thermal insulation in a thin film coating, superior adhesion strength, and resistance to moisture and UV, allowing the insulation coatings to be used in many types of environments while maintaining a consistent level of performance. Nansulate(R) coatings are also low VOC and environmentally friendly. Government contracts represent an important new market sector for Industrial Nanotech, Inc. and we look forward to continuing to expand our successes in US municipalities to many other cities across the country."

Other US and international government/defense related applications of Nansulate(R) coatings include the Pearl Harbor Naval Base in Honolulu, Hawaii, the Norfolk Naval Shipyard in Portsmouth, Virginia, Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, IMSS (Mexico's Social Security Administration) Data Center in Monterrey, Mexico, and the Suvarnabhumi International Airport in Bangkok, Thailand.
