sp3 Diamond Technologies Names Greenspec Inc. as its Representative for the Republic of Korea

Santa Clara, CA | Posted on December 8th, 2010

p3 Diamond Technologies, Inc. (sp3), a leading supplier of diamond products, equipment and services, today announced that it has selected Greenspec, Inc. as a sales and services representative for the Republic of Korea. The relationship will allow Greenspec to actively market, sell and service sp3's CVD diamond deposition reactors, including the single-chamber Model 655 and dual-chamber Model 665. Greenspec has already completed training on sp3's diamond deposition reactors at sp3's Santa Clara, Calif. manufacturing facility.

"We see strong potential for the adoption of CVD diamond in Korea for both high-technology applications, such as diamond-coated electrodes and wafer-scale diamond, as well as cutting tool applications," said Dwain Aidala, president and COO of sp3 Diamond Technologies. "Greenspec offers us an important, local resource to support our anticipated growth in Korea. Its ability to offer local service, in particular its extensive direct experience with complex semiconductor manufacturing equipment, combined with a sales force that understands the technology and markets triggered the relationship. These attributes, along with the ability to communicate the value CVD diamond can bring to key local markets, made Greenspec an ideal choice to represent sp3."

Greenspec and sp3 have an existing Korean Hot Filament CVD Diamond Reactor customer that will be supported by Greenspec's local service. Additionally, Greenspec's relationships with local industries and government laboratories are expected to enhance sp3's CVD diamond penetration of the Korean market.
