Reformation in Higher Education
Abstract:
The 5th Islamic Conference of Ministers of Higher Education and Scientific Research was organised by the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, ISESCO, in partnership with the Ministry of Higher Education, Malaysia and the Organisation of the Islamic Conference, OIC. The theme of the conference was 'Enculturation of Quality in Academia, Research and Innovation Towards Prosperity of Ummah'. A number of reports and documents were adopted during the conference - among them ISESCO's efforts in the field of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Technology; Creation of the Islamic Network of Women Scientists; The Ranking of Universities of the Islamic World; Strategy for Promotion of Nanotechnology in Islamic countries as well as Project Atlas of Science and Innovation in the Islamic World.
