Postulate to the Swiss Federal Council: Need for Nanotech Legislation

Abstract:
In a postulate of December 10, 2009, the Swiss Federal Council is requested to re-assess the need for legislatory action concerning manufactured nanomaterials and their applications and to report to the Parliament. The Federal Council affirmed to perform a review of the impacts of the on-going Action Plan in 2011 and wants to pay special attention to recent developments in the European Union.
