ChemSec: ICCM2 fell short of expectations, particularly industry commitments
Abstract:
On the emerging issues recognised by ICCM2, ChemSec says the goal to find new ways to provide information on safe use of chemicals in products to consumers was watered down; that the need to tackle e-waste exports to developing countries led to a commitment only to one workshop; and that the work programme for nanotechnology was a step backwards.
