Dorgan highlights importance of Corridor
Abstract:
U.S. Sen. Byron Dorgan, D-ND, told North Dakota State College of Science students and faculty Wednesday he's proud of how they are diving into the next chapter of higher education by advancing the nanoscience technology training programs.
As a senior member of the Senate Appropriations Committee, Dorgan helped secure $1.3 million for NDSCS's Center for Nanoscience Technology Training in the 2009 Omnibus Appropriations bill passed into law by President Barack Obama last month. A total $345,250 of the $1.3 million was secured for the school's Nanotechnology Applied Science Lab located in Fargo.
