IPC and USP comes together in the 7th annual scientific meet
Abstract:
The two-day annual scientific meet featured a series of breakout track sessions on active pharmaceutical ingredients, dosage forms and excipients, biologics and biotechnology, nanotechnology and other special topics. It was well attended with high level of scientific interactions and responses, which has encouraged USP to conduct more such programs. "USP is grateful for the support of the pharmaceutical industry and the trade organisations, and the annual scientific meeting is USP's way of providing a forum for interactive discussion so that industry can provide direct feedback to USP. We also appreciate the collaboration with the IPC in this meeting and other related activities," said Kumud Sampath, USP Vice President-International (India). During the meet, USP unveiled its new facility concept, which is being constructed at a cost of $10 million in the first phase at the ICICI Knowledge Park.
