The Exposition is international in scope with approximately 19% of the exhibiting companies headquartered in a variety of countries including the United Kingdom, Canada, China, Australia, France, Korea, Germany, Italy, India, Japan, and Sweden. The nearly 700,000 square foot exposition floor will include 2,440 booths, 45 seminar rooms, 13 New Product Forums, 2 complimentary mixers, and 3 specialized areas—New Exhibitor, Life Sciences, and Laboratory Informatics. This year, Pittcon will be welcoming 144 new exhibitors which can be viewed at www.pittcon.org under the Exposition tab.

When asked to comment about the goals for the Pittcon 2008 Exposition, Exposition Chairman Janeth Pifer replied, "We believe Pittcon is a unique opportunity for conferees, as well as exhibitors, and we continually strive to add value to make Pittcon a truly worthwhile and productive experience for all. This year, we have implemented several enhancements to the floor in response to attendee and exhibitor feedback including increasing the complimentary mixer locations, restructuring the Poster area, and adding a 10,000 square foot rest area, Jackson Square, fashioned after the famous New Orleans landmark—just to name a few."
