Abstract:
The State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) has established the Nanotechnology Research and Production Center, SOCAR reported on Monday.

Azerbaijan | Posted on May 23rd, 2011Doctor of technical sciences, Professor Eldar Shahbazov was appointed the center head.
The center will carry out the work stemming from the Nanooil program, particularly work to increase oil and gas production, hydrocarbon production in the old, particularly in flooded fields, and to reduce costs in this direction.
The Nanooil program consists of four parts: Nanoproduction, Nanodrilling, Nanooilchemistry and Econanooil.
