Dolphin-inspired nanotechnology could herald new evolution in cleaning products

Abstract:
Natural cleaning products could be developed using technology inspired by dolphins in the years to come.

Scientists at the Singapore Agency for Science, Technology and Research drew their inspiration from dolphins, whose skin is known to resist fouling.

They have used nanotechnology based on the skin to create new surface coverings with antibacterial but chemical-free properties.
