Area’s colleges continue to add students, facilities
Abstract:
The inaugural class of the Joint School of Nanoscience and Nanoengineering, a partnership between UNCG and A&T, starts this fall.
Seventeen master's and doctoral students will begin studying nanoscience for a degree that will be offered through UNCG.
Students will study in a temporary space at the Gateway University Research Park South Campus while the joint school is under construction.
In addition, both universities have hired new faculty and staff members. Many are positions that had been vacant.
