Abstract:
The Mazda Premacy is the first mass production Mazda model to undergo a Life Cycle Assessment (LCA). The analysis estimates that from manufacture to disposal, the all-new Premacy will produce six percent less CO2 over its lifetime than the previous model. This is due to:
The exhaust gas purification system includes a single-nanocatalyst, which reduces the amount of precious metal required in the catalyst by approximately 70 percent.
