New products may help NaturalNano turnaround
Abstract:
White plastic checklist boards hang in numerous hospital operating rooms around the Rochester region, the idea being that scalpels don't start cutting until all the proper preparation steps are checked off.
And as of early this year, the boards' sliding plastic tabs started coming loaded with a tiny additive that makes the plastic stronger and smoother.
Nanomaterials company NaturalNano Inc. of Pittsford is hoping that the checklist board and products like it will help carry the struggling firm for the immediate future until it can turn its fortunes around and capitalize on its knowhow.
