Four patents a day
Abstract:
"When it comes to innovation we decided that the main research trends in the 21st century will be energy, food and mobility. And these areas have our biggest attention", Michael Hepp, President of BASF Poland Ltd (BASF Polska Sp. z o.o.) tells "Polish Market's" Jerzy Bojanowicz.
Other innovations include modern, single-element Mytho chairs designed by an Italian furniture company and the renowned designer Konstantin Grcic, which have meshed cushions and backrests. This construction was possible thanks to Ultradur High Speed, a special synthetic substance consisting of polybutylene terephthalate (PBT), whose nanomolecules display very specific engineering qualities. We also use nanotechnology in the production of ceramic glues.
