Penman PR, one of the most innovative independent PR firms in the nation and the only international public relations firm to offer 100% senior-level representation, announced today that Lisa Morgan Wallace has joined the firm as Senior Account Executive and PR Strategist in Austin. Wallace will seek to strengthen the firm's portfolio in healthcare and complex technologies.

Prior to joining Penman, Wallace held senior sales positions at MPower Systems, Convio, Orion International Consulting Group and Alcon where she consulted for Fortune 500 companies such as Wal-Mart, Calpine, and Jacobs Engineering, as well as nationally recognized nonprofits like Susan G. Komen, American Red Cross, and Boys and Girls Clubs of America. She also served Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, the Texas Health and Human Services Commission and the Medicare in Mexico Project.

Before entering the private sector, Wallace was a Surface Warfare Officer for the United States Navy where she coordinated navigational, combat and security activities for USS VICKSBURG, a guided missile cruiser. While stationed there, she also assumed command of the ship's Combat Acoustics (CA) division of 22 sonar technicians and torpedomen in the area of Undersea Warfare (USW) for deployment in support of Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) and Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF).

Wallace earned a Bachelor of Science Degree at the famed United States Naval Academy in Annapolis. She also holds a Masters Degree in Public Affairs from the Lyndon B. Johnson School at University of Texas, Austin, where her work and influence expanded to government agencies and programs at the state, national and international levels.
