Nano now, but with a mega future

Abstract:
The Albany NanoTech complex on Fuller Road could get substantially bigger if it can move ahead with plans to expand on the north side of Washington Avenue Extension.

The University at Albany's College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering, which operates the $5.5 billion facility, previously disclosed plans to build a $60 million, 100,000-square-foot facility on a 14.4-acre parcel owned by the university across Washington Avenue Extension. The new facility would house environmental technologies and energy research labs.
