Wilkens has joined the board of directors for its parent company, Nano Risk Assessment. Mr. Wilkens was co-founder of numerous successful companies, two of which were recently acquired by Rockwell Collins. He also is Honorary Consul to the Republic of Slovenia.

Mr. Wilkens is a partner in Transport Facilitator Partners, L.P. and Weather Insight, L.P., which provides tailored weather services to the energy and financial sectors. He co-founded the AR Group and its subsidiaries Air Routing International, Air Security International (ASI Group) and Wilkens Weather Technologies, which were acquired by the communication and aviation electronics solutions company Rockwell Collins in December of 2009.

In 1996, Mr. Wilkens was appointed Honorary Consul for the Republic of Slovenia, and he is a member of the Consular Corps of Houston, the third largest consul organization in the U.S.

Mr. Wilkens received his Masters of Science in Environmental Health Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin. He received his Bachelors degree in Physics from The University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee.
