"Doing well by doing good" redux
Abstract:
While the sun is shining on Next Generation's eco efforts, it's also been doing very well in sales growth. Founder and CEO David Frecka anticipates doubling the company's growth over the next five years to around $200 million. With a keen reliance on world-class equipment, the filmmaker runs 23 blown-film lines-none more than 12 years old, and purchases another top-quality system about every nine months. And, if that weren't enough, through its patent-pending nanotechnology, Next Generation's proprietary structures are yielding more-easily recycled, three-layer films that are stronger than many five- and seven-layer films.
