SIUE's 'microscope lady' peeks at nature's intricate beauty
Abstract:
It may look like a magnified image of a bug's eye to you, but it's a work of art to Sue Eder.
The "microscope lady" at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville is fascinated by complex and often beautiful patterns in nature.
Sue also collaborates with associate chemistry professor Eric Voss and his students, who do research in nanotechnology.
