Education Briefs: Museum offers free field trips

Abstract:
Oklahoma State University-Tulsa researcher Daryoosh Vashaee is developing nanotechnology that can convert waste heat to energy. His process to produce a clean, alternative energy source could reduce the use of fossil fuels. Vashaee was awarded a $700,000 grant from the Air Force Office of Scientific Research and a $200,000 grant from the National Science Foundation to perform research associated with thermoelectrics.
