Applied Nanoscience Inc. (ANI) (PINKSHEETS: APNN), a nanotechnology-based filtration development company, announced that its board of directors has elected to terminate the definitive merger agreement with Emergency Filtration Products, Inc.. Formal notice was received by EFP on February 26, 2009.
