Building material exports soar

Abstract:
Viet Nam's exports of building materials to more than 100 countries last year recorded a growth of 25.7 per cent last year, according to the Ministry of Construction.

Vietnamese construction materials are being exported to large markets, such as the US, Europe, Japan and Australia.

The construction ministry said that new technologies had improved Viet Nam's competitiveness in the building material sector.

Local manufacturers are using the latest technologies for production, including nanotechnology and anti-bacterial contamination technology to make porcelain sanitary products.
