New Generation of Nanoscale Sensors

Apogee Technology today announced that its MEMS Division had entered into a cooperative agreement with The Research Foundation of State University of New York at Stony Brook and The Center for Advanced Sensor Technology (Sensor CAT) to jointly develop technologies that will enable a new generation of ultra-sensitive micro-sized sensors. The research will focus on combining nano-composite materials and silicon-based microfabrication processes to produce sensors for the industrial, automotive, medical, military and homeland security markets.
