Abstract:
Aculon, Inc., a leading supplier of nanocoatings today announces the launch of their “loaded” ecommerce site to enable their customers to more easily acquire their products. The site will have a broad range of offering of Aculon’s proprietary products available in small quantities. The site will enable potential customers to easily buy the treatments, allowing for them to be able to test and qualify them into future commercial programs.

Aculon Launches “Loaded” Ecommerce Site

San Diego, CA | Posted on August 12th, 2015

The ecommerce site will initially include the following products:

1. Aculon NanoClear® - The awarding winning stencil treatment product line.

2. Aculon NanoProof™ Series - A series of treatments designed to protect PCB’s from water and oil. The series includes products that provide protection against accidental water damage all the way to full barrier coatings that electrically conductive.

3. Aculon Metal Repellency Treatment – A treatment designed to render metal surfaces repellent to water and oil. This treatment will make any metal substrate hydrophobic and oleophobic. Aculon’s Metal Repellency Treatment is abrasion resistant, easy to apply, optically clear, and ultra-thin. Application is very easy and most metals do not require a cure.

4. Aculon Sapphire Repellency Treatment – A treatment designed to make sapphire lenses used in the medical, oil and other instrumentation industries repellent to both oil & water. This treatment will make any sapphire substrate hydrophobic, oleophobic, and repellent to nearly any liquid! Aculon’s Sapphire Repellency Treatment is abrasion resistant, easy to apply, optically clear, and ultra-thin. It can easily be applied via several application methods – wipe, dip, or spray.

5. Aculon Anti Fouling Repellency Treatment – A treatment designed help any metal substrate resist fouling from pollutants such as oil, paraffins, and other contaminants. Aculon’s Anti Fouling Repellency Treatment is abrasion resistant, easy to apply, optically clear, and ultra-thin.

6. Aculon Precious Metal Repellency Treatment – A treatment designed to protect precious metal surfaces from water and oil. This treatment will make gold, silver, platinum, and palladium metals hydrophobic & oleophobic.

7. Aculon Multi Surface Repellency Treatments – The multi surface treatment series will offer a hydrophobic treatment and treatment which is both hydrophobic & oleophobics. These treatments can be applied to all materials but are typically utilized on plastics which can not be treated via other methods.

8. Aculon Glass Treatments – A treatment specifically formulated to make glass hydrophobic & oleophobic. This treatment is easy to apply.

9. Aculon Adhesion Promotion Series – A series of adhesion promotion treatment designed to boost the adhesion epoxies, acrylics, acrylates, some amine cured epoxies, thiol based coatings, polyurethanes and phenolic-epoxy based coatings to your substrates surface. These treatments are applied to your metal or oxide containing surface prior to application of the coating or adhesive needing added adhesion. These treatments can be spraye, wiped, or dipped.

The pricing on the site will be representative of small sample quantities only and not negotiated production pricing.

“For many years Aculon has been a leading supplier of nanocoatings to a broad variety of industries. Traditionally we have worked directly with customers to optimize the product. After 5 years of doing this, we now have a broad variety of off the shelf products that we are ready to launch to a broader customer base. Our expectation is that by more customers buying by small quantities from us for testing and qualification purposes we will see an increased adoption of our technologies on commercialized products as we continue on our mission to be the leading surface modification company globally. Launching an ecommerce site loaded with great products is another step in that direction!” said Edward Hughes, CEO of Aculon.
