Rao emphasises India's role in Afghanistan
Abstract:
Foreign Secretary Nirupama Rao reviewed the progress of India-US strategic dialogue with top Obama Administration officials and briefed them on the recent Indo-Pak talks as well as New Delhi's view point on Afghanistan.
The dialogue particularly focused on the areas of defence and strategic trade, biotechnology, and nanotechnology, with agreement on the need to create new groups on health, IT and civil aviation.
