Turkish tech firm produces engine oil with boron

Abstract:
A Turkish technology firm, operating in the northwestern province of Edirne, has produced engine oil with boron using nanotechnology.

In an interview with AA, Mehmet Can Arvas, director general of NNT Nanotechnology & Boron Products, said Wednesday that the threat caused by the shrinking petroleum reserves in the world encouraged his company to carry out a research on this issue.

Arvas said that vehicles using engine oil with boron would be able to travel 300-350 km more compared to those using petroleum or diesel oil.
