Arrowhead Research Corporation (Nasdaq: ARWR) today reminded its shareholders and prospective investors that its 2009 Annual Meeting of Shareholders will be held today at the Company's headquarters in Pasadena, CA at 10:00 a.m. PT. Following the Meeting, Dr. Christopher Anzalone, Arrowhead's Chief Executive Officer and President, will present the Company's strategic plan and objectives for 2009 starting at 10:30 a.m. PT.

The presentation, followed by an interactive in-person and online question and answer period, will be webcast live beginning at 10:30 a.m. PT. Interested parties should access the webcast via Arrowhead's home page: www.arrowheadresearch.com. Participants are encouraged to submit questions to management via the webcast player. Audio and video replay is expected to be available approximately three hours after the conclusion of the Meeting for those unable to attend the live webcast.
