A new Publisher is launched today, KTI International

UK | Posted on January 20th, 2009

What
The collective aim of the various book series is to disseminate key technologies to engineers and scientists across a broad spectrum of traditional and emerging technologies in engineering and applied science.

Why
Engineers and scientists require up-to-date knowledge to stay innovative and competitive in industry, business or academia. Increasingly, there is a need to be more rapidly aware of new knowledge as the pace of development and adopting new technologies quickens. New developments and technologies bridge traditional boundaries as more cross-disciplinary approaches stimulate innovation and new applications of this knowledge.

How
Books will be published in a timely fashion in both print and electronic media. The latest production, printing and electronic technologies will be utilised in order to provide maximum accessibility and availability to readers. New and innovative ways of disseminating information are being explored.

Who
KTI is the brainchild of Dr Nigel Hollingworth, and Professor Waqar Ahmed who jointly provide a powerful blend of skills, experience and knowledge of engineering, science and publishing. More than the sum of the parts, they have synergy on a core common desire to provide authors and editors with a satisfying experience and strong relationship with the Publisher.

"We want authors and editors to feel part of KTI and help us evolve, share knowledge and have fun. We wish to engage our authors and editors and have a dialogue that is Responsive, Responsible and Rewarding - the 3Rs. We are confident this is what authors and editors really want and will be beneficial to the books they compile. We are a small publishing house with a big, global outreach, and our philosophy to be flexible and approachable is intrinsic to our values and company."

Breaking news..
The company is developing very rapidly and we expect to make some important announcements shortly" said Nigel Hollingworth.
