Nanotech consumer mobile market bid
Abstract:
Fibre optic chip designer Nanotech Semiconductor is planning a third round of fund raising to take it into the consumer and mobile phone market for its glass and fibre optic amplifiers.
"We have developed new techniques to increase the sensitivity by 4dB on top of the 2dB increase we achieved last year, and the ramifications of that are huge across the board," said Gary Steele, founder of Bristol-based Nanotech and previously Microcosm Communications.
