Nanotech start-up gets seed money from Ontario
Abstract:
Northern Nanotechnologies is receiving $250,000 of pre-seed investment through Ontario Centres of Excellence's Commercialization program.
The nanomaterials company's key innovation is a patent-pending, scalable, and cost effective method to custom design nanomaterials for a wide range of industries. It is currently working on coating and catalyst applications, but the process allows it to control the identity and structure of practically any kind of nanoparticle.
