Nanocollege gets endowment from alumnus
Abstract:
The state University at Albany's College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering said it will announce its first endowment by an alumnus Tuesday.
How much the endowment is worth was not disclosed.
The college is considered the first in the country to be focused entirely on nanotechnology. It's located at the UAlbany's $3 billion Albany NanoTech research center. Former Gov. George Pataki announced the college's creation during his State of the State address in 2004.
