$20M sought for nano research center
Abstract:
The state University at Albany and IBM are seeking approval for a grant from the Empire State Development Corp. for a $338 million project that will create 550 jobs in the Albany, N.Y., area and another 200 jobs at IBM's East Fishkill site.
The agreement between IBM and the state university's Albany NanoTech research site calls for the creation of the Center for Semiconductor Research.
