Nano Magnifies FEI Profits

Abstract:
With the Internet revolution firmly established, investors are looking at nanotechnology as the next big investment idea.

Companies as diverse as BASF (nyse: BF - news - people ), Eddie Bauer (nasdaq: EBHI - news - people ), General Motors (nyse: GM - news - people ), IBM (nyse: IBM - news - people ) and Hewlett-Packard (nyse: HPQ - news - people ) have already begun incorporating nanoscale applications into products. The yield so far has included stain-resistant clothing, stronger composites that are lightweight scratch resistant and better sunscreens.
