NSF Awards Integrated Nano-Technologies SBIR

Abstract:
The National Science Foundation awarded a Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) grant to Integrated Nano-Technologies (INT) for further research and development of its novel DNA detection technology. The BioDetect(TM) technology platform and portable system, which integrates DNA and microelectronics, accurately detects the presence of biological agents, such as SARS, anthrax and smallpox, in as little as 20 minutes.
