Abstract:
ANOTHER piece of chemical giant ICI's Teesside operations is under new ownership

Intertek Group, a leading international provider of quality and safety services, has acquired ICI's Measurement Science Group (MSG), which is based on Teesside.

As part of the wider and international network of Intertek laboratories, MSG will continue to provide key services to ICI Global Research and Development operations. MSG becomes Intertek's flagship Technology Centre for pioneering measurement services into new areas of growth, including nanotechnology, medical devices, intelligent packaging, advanced coatings and micro-electronics.
