Governor's research funding plan debated
Abstract:
The initiative includes about $70 million in borrowing to construct research facilities for scientists studying solar energy and new biofuels that are gentler on the atmosphere than fossil fuels. An additional $25 million would underwrite various research efforts involving nanotechnology, biotechnology, advanced information technology and speedier supercomputers.
