Picente wants to entice firm to Marcy chip-fab site

Abstract:
In his State of the County speech this morning, Oneida County Executive Anthony Picente said he would work with economic development officials to land a nanotechnology firm for the chip fabrication site in Marcy.

"There are few industry clusters that can have as dramatic an economic impact on a region than the semiconductor industry," Picente told the group of more than 200 people assembled at the Radisson Hotel-Utica Centre to hear the address.
