Govs. of Illinois, Calif. to announce energy research pact

Abstract:
Two governors and executives of BP are scheduled to announce a new energy research partnership at the University of California, Berkeley, on Thursday.

The partnership will "continue California's leadership in the fastest growing fields of clean technology, biotechnology and nanotechnology," the governor's office said.
