University of Waterloo President sets ambitious agenda

Abstract:
Both our Institute for Quantum Computing and our program in nanotechnology will soon share space in what's envisioned to be a $70-million, 225,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility housing more than 50 researchers, 100 graduate students and 500 undergraduate nanotechnology engineering students. Late in November, the university received $18 million from the Canada Foundation for Innovation to equip the new facility.
