High marks, low marks
Abstract:
When Kermit Hall died in a swimming accident last August, Governor Pataki praised the University at Albany president as a leader who would leave a lasting imprint on higher education and nanotechnology. Those words might well apply to Mr. Pataki himself. If there is any one achievement in higher education that the governor will likely be remembered for, it will be his leadership in fostering businesses to partner with the major campuses of the State University of New York.
