State's nanotech industry ranked 5th in the nation
Abstract:
Small Times Magazine, a trade publication, ranked Connecticut only behind California, Massachusetts, New York and New Mexico. This comes just a few years after Connecticut was buried behind Texas and several other large states with sophisticated technology centers. The publication attributed Connecticut’s prowess in “tiny technology” to its defense and energy technology companies.
