Modifications Render Carbon Nanotubes Nontoxic
Abstract:
Researchers at Rice University have found that water-soluble carbon nanotubes are significantly less toxic than those that are not soluble in water. Moreover, the research finds that nanotubes can be rendered nontoxic with minor chemical modifications.
