Carbon nanotubes power up microwave amplifiers
Abstract:
Researchers at the University of Cambridge, UK, Thales Research and Technology, France, and Thales Electron Devices, France, have used arrays of carbon nanotubes as electron sources for microwave amplifiers. The devices could have applications in high-power microwave telecommunications.
